"Venki"

Venki is the classic blend of an Accountant's eye for detail and an entrepreneur's flair for getting stuff done... efficient, yet effective. He started his career at that temple of efficiency and effectiveness, Price Waterhouse. Soaked it in there for fifteen whole years and then accepted a 'Controller / CFO' position at a large, listed tin-smelting company in Malaysia. He did this for 6 years, when he decided the Industry itself was in a 'sun-set' phase. He moved on to set up a Chartered Accountant firm, along with some associates. This kept him engaged four years, when he accepted an exciting, position as "Group General Manager" of a prominent group with interests in Trading and construction.

At 50, he was ready to chart a new career... he reverted to his 'core competency' and set up his own accounting firm Sankar & Co. He now helps over 150 corporate and 50 personal customers with their accounts and taxation. Venki is also actively associated with several professional and community organizations in a voluntary capacity: Secretary General of Indian Camber of Commerce and Industry, Kuala Lumpur and Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation amongst several others.

When SigMax-e approached him to handle its accounting, he saw in it the 'sun rise' industry he had been looking for...

If you were SigMax-e and knew Venki, you would do exactly what we did... opt him in as a promoter, before he changed his mind.
